Rest assured, our classes are led by a highly professional instructor who possesses extensive law enforcement training and is officially certified by the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office as a Concealed Handgun (CH) Permit Course Provider. You can trust that you will receive the highest quality instruction from a knowledgeable expert.

Altitude Defense’s Conceal Carry course meets Archuleta County’s new requirements for acquiring a Conceal Carry permit, which include six hours of classroom time and a portion of live range shooting time. This class is 6-8 hours in duration. It consists of classroom instruction at Altitude Defense. Following the classroom portion, students will travel to the Keyah Grande Shooting Facility, where they will engage in live-fire drills designed to allow them to demonstrate their ability to safely and accurately deploy their sidearm.
