Jim
Meet our team member Jim! Jim’s salesmanship and personable temperament make it a pleasure to work beside him. Our customers love to stop by the store just to say “hi” and because of this, become repeat customers. Jim and his wife, Connie, have lived in Pagosa for 8 years. They have owned several businesses including The Hub Bike Shop. Where he developed a rapport with several individuals in Pagosa. Jim will walk you through your purchase experience and make it an enjoyable one. Stop by and meet Jim. It’s an honor to have Jim be a part of the Altitude Defense team.
Chris
We have the honor to work side by side with Chris. He is our conceal carry and firearm instructor from May through October. Chris is a retired thirty-year law enforcement veteran. He has been an FBI-certified firearm instructor for 28 years. He is an avid gun collector and loves working with firearm enthusiasts. He is very passionate and has a heart to educate our customers about firearm safety. As an instructor, Chris’s goal is to leave his students with the confidence and skills to safely, proficiently, and accurately practice and deploy their firearm.
Bailey
Our team member Bailey has lived in the Pagosa Springs area since childhood. Bailey has experience working in several different businesses. She is great with customers and makes the store a joyful place to work. When she is not working in the gun store, she spends her time studying for her Doula certification and Midwifery license, exploring in the mountains and enjoys any activities outdoors that include exercising, shooting, and hunting.
Penny
Penny is a blast to work with. She is a Pagosa Springs local working as a realtor when she is not working with her sister, Cindy, at the gun store. Penny’s fun, loving nature makes our store a great place to visit. She has been with Altitude Defense from the very beginning. Penny was an intricate part of getting the store started. She welcomes all of our customers with a joyful smile.
